The Woman Looking Through
Mr. Freeman composed this picture on a cabinet door. The hinges are still intact, but the handle has been removed.

A Vision of Family
Vision is a recurring theme in Mr. Freeman’s work. He creates a Mother and Father fused as one. Then there is a Child. Sometimes the Child, as in this picture, is a distinct individual attached but not fused to the parents. Sometimes the Child is fused into the Family unit, but at the neck of the larger Parental figure, like a bud. Other times the Child is sheltered within the fused profile of the Parents. The clock represents Time which Mr, Freeman says is “too precious to waste”.

The Lady Left Behind
Here’s the final picture from the stash of art Mr. Freeman left at The Culture Mart back in August.

The Eyes Have It
Two pictures that feature the Eye of the Lord watching over all.

The figure above the Eye in the photo below represents family. It is the fused profile of a man and woman with the profile of a child contained within.

The View From Then
I just noticed that WordPress is offering a library of professional photographs through PicApp. I found this photo of part of the Orlando skyline dated December 27, 2007. It seems anemic. How many buildings have been added to this view since then?

Freeman’s Iconography
Truth is another picture Mr. Freeman left at The Culture Mart. The Truth design is one that Mr. Freeman produces often. This design contains many of Mr. Freeman’s iconic elements: the number seven, the eye, light rays, fused Silhouettes, pyramids, and clocks.
