A Small Display
Here is another video grab. This one is from The Art of Herbert Freeman made a couple of years ago by students at Full Sail.

All Apologies
I have to apologize for the quality of this photo. I captured it from a video frame. The video was made under yellow street lamps and the picture only filled about a fifth of the frame. I did my best to make it presentable. Mr. Freeman was working on another picture on the opposite side. Whoever possesses this picture has a twofer.
Souljah
This is another owned by attorney John Guidry. I really like this one. Mr. Freeman even used some blue glitter which I normally dislike in art, but it works in this piece.

Contemplation
Another Vision
This is one of three pieces owned by John Guidry, an attorney with a practice downtown.
I did not realize that this was a Vision until after I examined the photographs I took and saw the word “vision” in the art. In this picture we see two more pictorial elements in Mr. Freeman’s visual vocabulary. The first are the stairs which lead one’s journey “one step at a time”. The second are doors which are “wide open to life”.

Another Vision
Michael
Mr. Freeman made at least two pictures that I know of between the death of Michael Jackson and his Memorial. This is the only one I have a photo of. The other features Michael wearing a fedora.
In this picture there is a dynamic older Michael with beams coming out of his shades. A younger phantom Michael peeks out from the larger’s shoulder.

Our Lady of the Swans
This is the first and only example I have come across of Mr. Freeman using an existing print as an element in one of his pictures. He effectively uses an illustration of swans to convey the state of mind of a meditating woman.
