The Huntress
Often in Mr. Freeman’s work he seems forgetful of details, like in this piece where the young woman’s shoulder has not been finished. I have even seen a couple of works where he misspells his own name as in yesterday’s post.
Floodland is a tasty if slightly dated sounding Goth Rock recording from 1987.
Straight to the Heart
The internet recommend for today is Mr. Diety, an irreverent, funny video podcast about the big guy.
The Wind Will Carry Us
This is a rare example of a couple. Mr. Freeman infrequently creates pieces like this, but they are always compelling.

Bam-a-lam-a-lam
Today’s digital prize is a delicious slab of Japanese prog/glam rock. I bought this on vinyl when it came out in 1975 (yes, I’m ancient). Today if you wanted a physical copy of this either on vinyl or cd the asking price starts at around $50.00. Actually that price is worth it because this is a wonderful album. It’s all in Japanese but don’t let that stop you. The title of the album is Kurofune which translates to Black Ship. This is a reference to the four warships that Commodore Perry took to Japan in order to gently asked for trading rights between Japan and the USA back in the 19th century.
Who’s That Lady?
Today I am going to direct you to a satirical audio novel written and read by Patrick E McLean.
The Novel is How to Succeed in Evil. It is the story of Edwin Winsor, an efficiency consultant for supervillians. The story is funny and entertaining and Mr.McLean’s reading is spot on.
