Laser Beak Man
At age 11 the Australian artist Tim Sharp created the character Laser Beak Man. This costumed hero is the protagonist of Tim’s many humourous drawings. Tim is now 21 and Laser Beak Man has become a nationally recognized icon. Tim’s drawings have been exhibited in galleries and museums and are avidly collected throughout the world as well as Australia. When Tim was 3 he was diagnosed with autism. His doctors were pessimistic about Tim ever being able to participate with the wider world. Tim’s drawings have opened the way to opportunity and meaningful interaction with his community.
Tim Sharp’s mom talks about Tim, his art and the new animated cartoon series based on Laser Beak Man.
